| If the
answer is simply "yes", look for another
cleaner. Reputable, professional carpet cleaners
will be able to get most of your stains out, but the
good ones won't guarantee the stains because they know
that there are some stains that will not come out.
They will do everything to get them out, but a guarantee
to do so is just a come-on to get the job! |

| Q: How do you apply
"guard" products? |
| Carpet
protectors are applied after the cleaning, by a spray
process. If the answer to your questions is
"it is applied through the wand while we are
cleaning" then get another cleaner. This one
is probably charging you for something that you are not
getting . (Some "dry" method processes
have a "guard" product in the cleaning
chemical, which is applied during cleaning). |

| Q: Ask the cleaning
technician "are you an employee of this company?" |
| Many
cleaning companies, especially those who offer a
"low price", do not have technicians who are
their employees. These companies become
"appointment setters" for "independent
contractors" to get any satisfaction and, in most
cases, you do not have legal recourse against the
"appointment setter". Look for companies
whose technicians arrive in uniform, with trucks that
have the company emblems or logos on them. |
